Downloading drivers freezes my compter

 · I have recently updated an ASUS TPLN to windows 10 and have installed all new drivers yet the laptop crashes/ turns off after a minute or so after being booted. I have reinstalled windows 4 times and tried 4 different versions of the graphics .  · 3) Download drivers to the desktop 4) Open the Windows advanced troubleshooting menu on the computer using shift + restart click restart safe mode install drivers using safe mode report the results into the thread.  · If a device driver is at fault, download the latest driver from the manufacturer's website and install it before the computer freezes. Or use another computer to download the driver and try installing the driver on your computer. If you cannot install the latest driver before the computer freezes, another option is to start the computer in Safe Mode.

When downloading a game on steam, my computer freezes. I have had this problem for some time now and I can't seem to find any actual solutions for it, so here is my problem: I start downloading a game(in this case Deus Ex: HR but it happens with any game) and Steam begins to download it but every few seconds my computer locks up, preventing me. while downloading large games (i.e. DOOM, The Witcher 3) my PC frequently completely freezes (not a 5 second freeze or something like that, but a crash, and without blue screen or reboot, just complete standstill). I tried multiple things already: update/reinstall all third party drivers (graphics driver, network driver) - reinstall steam. Restart your PC; Now use your PC and see if it freezes or becomes non-responsive. If you do not notice any difference in performance of the PC and see it becomes non-responsive often, move to next solution. Solution Three- Check RAM. RAM is one of the important components of your PC. Windows OS depends heavily on RAM for smooth functioning.

If your computer still freezes frequently and randomly after Windows 10 update, you may try to either perform a system restore to roll back to the previous version or do a clean install of Windows 10 to find a fix. Either a system restore, or a clean install of Windows 10 will erase all the data you have created on your PC. 3) Download drivers to the desktop 4) Open the Windows advanced troubleshooting menu on the computer using shift + restart click restart safe mode install drivers using safe mode report the results into the thread. "get drivers downloads" in support assist freezes at 80% I have an Inspiron running Win10, Support assist version When I run the "get drivers download" it goes quickly to 80% and does not go any further.
